Privacy & cookies policy

This policy explains how MondialMt2 (hereinafter "the site" and "the game") processes your personal data and uses cookies, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the recommendations of the CNIL (the French data protection authority).

1. Site publisher

2. Hosting provider

The site is hosted by IONOS SARL, 7 place de la Gare, BP 70109, 57200 Sarreguemines Cedex, France.

3. Personal data collected

The site is a presentation page. It does not collect any personal data without your knowledge. Data may be processed only in the following cases:

• Beta sign-up: username, e-mail address, password (stored in hashed form, never in plain text), deletion code and IP address, which are necessary to create and secure your game account. A verification e-mail is sent to you to activate the account.
• Multi-account prevention: when you sign up, a random technical identifier is placed on your device (signed cookie) and a technical browser fingerprint (screen resolution, graphics card, time zone…) is computed and then immediately hashed: it can neither identify you personally nor track you across other sites — it only limits the number of accounts created per device.
• Pre-registration / contact: if you voluntarily give us your e-mail address or your username (for example via Discord), solely to keep you informed about the beta.
• Audience measurement: if you consent to it, anonymised visit statistics may be collected (see the Cookies section).
• Technical data: IP address and connection logs kept by the hosting provider for security purposes.

4. Purposes & legal basis

• Creating, activating and securing your game account — legal basis: performance of the contract (ToS).
• Preventing fraud and mass account creation (limit per IP address and per device) — legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Informing you about the launch and the beta of the game — legal basis: your consent.
• Measuring and improving the site's audience — legal basis: your consent.
• Ensuring the security and proper functioning of the site — legal basis: legitimate interest.

5. Cookies

A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit. The site distinguishes between:

• Essential cookies: necessary for the site to work and stay secure (e.g. remembering your consent choice, the session cookie during sign-up, and the anti-fraud cookie mmt2_device — a random identifier, kept for 12 months, which limits the number of accounts created per device). They do not require your consent.
• Audience measurement / third-party cookies: placed only after you accept them via the banner. You can refuse them with no impact on your browsing.

Specifically, only after you accept, these third-party audience-measurement and statistics tools may be activated:

• Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) — visit statistics (page views, source, device type…) to understand and improve the site's audience.
• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — Facebook / Instagram) — audience measurement and measuring the effectiveness of any advertising.

These tools place their own cookies and may collect data (including your IP address) for statistical purposes. This data may be transferred and processed outside the European Union (notably in the United States) by these companies, under appropriate safeguards. Their policies: Google · Meta. If you refuse cookies, none of these trackers is activated.

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies, with equal ease. Your choice is kept for a maximum of 6 months.

6. Game account & player data

To play MondialMt2, a game account may be created. The associated data (nickname, username, progress, statistics, items obtained and connection logs) is used solely to run the game, save your progress and keep the service secure. It is never sold to third parties.

7. Minimum age

The game is not recommended for children under 13. If you are under 15, the consent of a parent or legal guardian is required before providing personal data, in accordance with the GDPR as applicable in France.

8. In-app purchases & virtual items

MondialMt2 is free-to-play. Optional purchases (cosmetics, convenience options) may be offered. Virtual items, currencies and characters:

• have no real-world monetary value and cannot be converted into money;
• remain the property of the publisher and are granted to you under a licence to use;
• may be modified, rebalanced or removed for the needs of the game.

9. Rules of conduct & anti-cheat

Respect for other players is mandatory. Cheating, deliberately exploiting bugs, using third-party software, buying/selling accounts or hateful speech may lead to a warning, a suspension or a permanent ban, with no refund of any purchases.

10. Beta phase

The game is under development. During the beta, bugs may occur, the service may be interrupted and progress (accounts, items, levels) may be reset at any time. No guarantee of availability or data retention is offered during this phase.

11. Intellectual property

All content specific to the site and the game (texts, created visuals, the MondialMt2 logo) is protected. Trademarks, names and elements belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners; this project is independent and is not officially affiliated with those third parties.

12. Retention period

Your data is kept only as long as strictly necessary for the purposes above: the pre-registration e-mail address until the end of the beta phase and then deleted, cookie consent for 6 months, and technical logs for the statutory period applied by the hosting provider.

13. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

14. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated at any time. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page.

Additions specific to the MondialMt2 website

• Support: when you contact support (with or without an account), your e-mail address, your message and the sending IP address are kept for as long as needed to handle the request, then archived.
• Payments: your order history (amount, payment method, date, any promo code) is kept for invoicing and fraud prevention.
• Anti-bot protection: on sign-up and login, Cloudflare Turnstile analyses the request (including the IP address) in order to block bots. Cloudflare acts as a processor; no data is sold.
• Moderation: in the event of a sanction, the account concerned, the IP address, the reason and the date are recorded in a moderation log, for security and evidence purposes.
